ECO-SOCIALISM AS THE NEXT WORLD SYSTEM: MITIGATING CLIMATE CHANGE

Dr Hans Baer summarizes the systemic cause of climate change and identifies an opportunity to rethink the systems and associated challenges facing humanity in his presentation: Eco-Socialism - 2023 (available in fileshare https://www.anzuua.org/file-share/fbd9eacf-ed85-4ed3-bf31-3017cf1f6cd4) .

Global capitalism, in its drive for profits, sacrifices the basic needs of the majority of the world, and is environmentally unsustainable. Capitalism as a system is the underlying driver accelerating climate change and hindering meaningful progress in curtailing the harmful emissions that are causing rapid climate change. The vision of a future based on a democratic eco-socialism system offers a potential path to an environmentally sustainable and livable future.
